OUR STORY.
Hypatia Consulting was founded as a family-run business operating from Egypt and the UK.
One of us is an award-winning Egyptologist who also happens to present TV shows.
The other worked for the UN and spent a decade as a government consultant in both the UK and Egypt.
Too many times, we witnessed production companies struggling with the basics in Egypt. They were constantly postponing their filming, relying on a monopoly of out-dated fixers, and they weren't being offered a transparent service.
We discovered that a complete understanding of local nuances (on both sides) is essential to ensuring a smooth filming experience.
